For a concentric straight reduction, the dimension "W" is the total reduction.

  *  = Type of Material
        (S = Hot Dip Mill Galvanized
         G = Hot Dip Galvanized)

For example: The part number for a Straight Reducer Splice Plate, with a width of 12", to be used with 248S Ladder Tray would be: 248S12237.

      248 = Tray System
         S = Type of Material (Hot Dip Mill Galvanized)
        12 = Total Reduction Width in Inches*
      237 = Corresponding sku suffix for a Straight Reducer
                Splice Plate.
